    Default 1/18th Yamaha Rhino Project

    well it started its life out as a toy of our favorite trail riding vehicle...we have a real one and take it all over the place so i wanted a toy of one to sit on the shelf. then i saw my dads old rc18t and i had an idea! onto wat i did today!

    heres it as a toy


    heres it in mock up form on the 18t.



    here it is with one of the a-arms from FFRC i had a spare laying around still need to buy a set.
    you can see wat i mean by lengthen

    Things todo and i need help lol
    Mount the body somehow!!!
    get ffrc extended a-arms for the front
    paint it
    get the 18t as a runner no electrics right now
    new to scale rims and tires.
    hmmmm wat else?????



    so how should i mount the body and wat rims and tires u think would look scale?

    i dont think an rc18 will crawl lol it will be fun on the track though

    You might have to make your own tires and wheels. I don't think I've ever seen anything narrow enough (Besides Tamiya Semi Wheels).

    Are you going to leave the RPM bumper on the front (I'd almost say shop the ends, paint it black, and fill in the center for a front skid look).

    Hmm. Take a look at RC4WD's Super Narrow Tires/Wheels, or 1.55s [perhaps]. Also, The front wheels from the tamiya buggy may work (Also, look at the losi desert buggy fronts.).. The only issue I can for see is tire height.
