Default I had to do it (Well not really)

But I found a good buy on a new toy so I figured I would share some pics of its first day out. Here are some specs of what it has on it right now:

Hustler Super Chassis w/Delrin skid & links
Super bully axles (I did the steering mod to them)
    Dual 45t Fantom Blitz motors
    Holmes Hobbies BRXL ESC
    Dual Hitec 7950's F&R
    punk dig
    C.C. bec's (one per servo)
Nova's Ark plow boys on Cen wheels

Debating on doing dual esc with stick controller. We will see if I end up liking it or my brother in law does because I mainly got it for him to drive. If I end up keeping it I may have to sell the JK scaler I still need to make some body panels for the super, it only has cardboard templates on it in the pics. Here ya go:

Some of you may notice this climb at horsemans:

Um when it got to my door (and in these pics) it was 19 1/2"!!!!!!!
I have since put it at 17 7/8th's. I cant believe I had to take 1 1/2"s out of that sucker.

Nice pick up! Have you seen the NOVAK M2 Dig system? I talked to Mr. Novak himself at RCX and he was hoping for a sooner than later release.

im thinking they have to be having some serious issues with that system as they have missed several months of due dates i was hoping to take a serious look at it as well. did difflocker happen to talk to novak about the little dig electronic device they offer ? similar to the punk but allowing dual esc systems instead

I only asked about the M2 system. It seems that they had other products that needed to be finished before the M2 gets some more attention. One of the Novak reps at the booth, said he just received his for testing. Mr. Novak himself wants it out before summer.

Well the Dual Coppertops worked for the horsemans comp but I figured something a bit more permanent would be nicer. I saw some knuckle weights I liked so I decided to give it a crack. I measured the super bully knuckle and found a socket adapter that was the same o.d. Here are some pics:

I think I may go to a TUNA can and make some big'uns!

Finally got some steering I like on the front end. I set it up BTA and it seems to work pretty good so far. We will see at the next comp!

well the steering worked out well although the all thread that holds the rod ends on didnt stand up to the 6 foot fall onto the front tires. I had to take a repair but..... I still pulled off a second at the cougar finals and lost to the big dog 420 by ONE POINT!!!! If not for that and I could have taken my first super win! I think after a bit more work and some SUPER DRIVING practice I may be able to give the super guys some competition. (key word being "may") We will see what pans out this summer You guys better get to building!!! (except for Eric, your rig is dialed bro dont do a thing)

After doing alot of reading and getting some help from Rcjunky I went ahead and jumped in and built these Super Rovers. Started with some Proline cheyenne wheels narrowed to 1 7/8th's and then bought 6 white dot rovers and a set of nova's ark dual stage super foams. I wanted these to be a bit larger than the ones I have seen and so I cut 16 lugs from a rover and glued it in between the stock full size rover. By doing this it made the foams a bit too small so I cut up some memory foam on the bandsaw and used that as my outer layer and the standard Nova as the inner for the fronts. Then I doubled up the outer soft foams in the rear. It filled them out pretty good but they are still super soft so I think they will wrap up nicely. Need to get a super gtg so I can go try em out.

In case anyone wants to know they are about 7 1/4" tall and about 2 1/4" wide

and they made my width go from 15 1/4" with the plow boys down to 13 1/2" with the rovers

Now I just need to get my rear bent links (hopefully from MTR) and I will be ready to play with the big boys!!
