taking things personally and getting defensive doesn't go well here... trust me, I know, haha.

Well when it comes to childish HS bs I do take it personally and if it doesn't go well with some of the guys who hang out there then thats there issue not mine, I will protect those I care about, and what goes around comes around and in the long run he and I both a long with a few others who have shown me respect and a warm welcome, I will know who I can and can't trust, again its just childish crap to sit around and rag on someone elses stuff, or life when then don't know the whole story behind any of it, so again sorry for being a bitch, but thats my feelings on the issue and they will never change

they're responding this way because no one is doing either of those things. it's all in good humor, just some good-natured ribbing and giving each other a hard time. if the person being given a hard time has a problem with it and says something, people will usually respect that. and stuff on the board is usually 10x worse than it is in person. tho we do it a lot in person too. when smack-talk is all in good fun... it's fun and entertaining. kind of a battle of wits.
just relax and roll with the punches, and throw a few yourself, this is a great group of guys who are a lot of fun to be around, and quickly become extended family members. of course, my family is about 100x worse with the sarcasm and biting humor, so I'm pretty used to recognizing it for what it is.
and of course, as with any group of people, there is drama occasionally. but we fight it out, have our say, and move on. no matter where you go you will find drama. it is inevitable. this is not drama... well, it is now. but it wasn't meant to be originally.
