This is the rig that I've been using all season. Jess and Nabil pretty much dominated the mini class with it this year![]()

......And still try'n!
Is it worth the extra $$$$? I mean you still have to add a grip of $$$$ to it, right? I am buying my first comp rig and just wondering if it makes sense to go this route.
The Mrc PRO is a great starting point for a competition 1.9 rig. It comes with all of the upgrades needed to make a stock MRC competition worthy... plus the CF chassis is pretty slick.
You still need to add a motor/esc, steering servo, and receiver.
If you're looking to compete seriously in the 1.9 class, its the only way to go. If you're looking for a fun/inexpensive rig and don't plan on competing much, the original MRC is probably a better choice.
Another option might be to pick up a 1/10th night crawler and compete in the 2.2 sportsman class.
