    (or at least any version of the scx10)

    They dominate, have tons of aftermarket options parts and you will always be able to get spare parts from guys if you break.

    Unless of course you actually want to "build" a scaler. Then disregard this reply entirely.

    he's right, building a scaler takes time, some money, and in my case luck cuz i found a hard plastic body that i liked and i work around the body. A good base is the scx-10, one thing tho is figure out if you like 1.5/ 1.9/ or 2.2 before you get a body that you like, that way you dont chop your body to much. thats just my 2 cents...

    BY THE WAY THERE IS THIS COMPANY CALLED "KOMODO CRAWLERS" THEY MAKE A BAD ASS 1.9 SCALER. I REALLY LIKE THE AXELS!!, CHECK IT OUT
