Paint for bodies?

Is there any paint for a hardware store that can be used to paint a body, or only hobby paint.

i believe only at a hobby shop or on line, its a special paint that eats in to the plastic so it sticks better,
regular paint does not work as well, if you do use regular Krylon paint put it in very thin, if you make it thick it will just
crack and fall off when the body flexes
